“Clean, well equipped house with plenty of room.”

Good shower and exceptionally comfy bed. Spacious kitchen/diner with plenty of crockery should you want to prepare a meal and a delightful garden for enjoying what's left of the sunshine in October! Good path for walking into Weymouth, which we did on a number of occasions, and The Famous Spa Pub located conveniently near the property, where we had a nice Sunday Lunch. We enjoyed the short drive over the causeway to Portland (8 miles), a trip into Dorchester (8 miles) and a trip to Durdle Door ...

We enjoyed the short drive over the causeway to Portland (8 miles), a trip into Dorchester (8 miles) and a trip to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove (15 miles, through beautiful countryside). The property is in a great spot for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Parking on the driveway on the side of the house was tight, but we had no propblem parking on the roadside directly outside the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The property

Magnolia House is a detached residence situated in the popular area of Radipole, Weymouth.

It is close to local amenities and not far from the main town centre and beach, which are about one mile away.

Either you are planning a family gathering or friends’ get-together, this holiday home is very comfortable and a lazy walk away from a beach. This Victorian house has a neutral palette of colours, plus modern conveniences.

The furniture and equipment in the cottage are of an excellent quality - including the outdoor furniture, where you can bask in the sun or hide under umbrella and enjoy a cold drink. A nearby footpath leads to Radipole Park to reach a children's play area, tennis courts and landscaped gardens.

Further on you can access the internationally renowned RSPB Nature Reserve where you could feed the ducks or walk amongst reeds and lagoons.

Weymouth town centre and beach can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes, or just 10 minutes on a bicycle using the cycle path on Radipole Park drive.

Alternatively drive to town in about three minutes or take the bus, which leaves regularly on Dorchester Road.

The popular nearby 'Famous Old Spa Pub' serves a varied menu and has a large garden with children's play equipment.

Other local facilities include a newsagent, Chinese and Indian takeaways, a butcher, a hairdresser, a beautician and a Lidl.

A large Morrisons Supermarket and petrol station is also less than half a mile away.

Explore Dorset coastline and visit market town of Bridport or county town of Dorchester that are short drive away.

Beautiful Corfe Castle ruins or Lulworth castle are just a short drive away to East too. Enjoy a seaside holiday in Dorset with family or friends in this comfortable holiday home.
