Resting in the pretty and peaceful village of Burton Bradstock is The Hayloft, a newly built holiday home sleeping up to six guests in well-presented accommodation, which boasts a superb position right near the spectacular Jurassic Coastline.
The Hayloft has three bedrooms; a double offering an en-suite shower, a second double and a twin bedroom, which are both served by a family bathroom consisting of a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
Downstairs you will find the welcoming sitting room where you can curl up together and discuss your holiday plans and spend some much needed quality time with your loved ones, flicking on the TV to catch up on your favourite shows and snuggling up in the warmth of the woodburning stove.
The spacious kitchen/diner is the hub of the house and is the perfect spot to gather together and create tasty meals to enjoy at the dining table whilst reminiscing on the adventures had so far, and in the warmer months, step outside onto the courtyard and breath in the fresh countryside air and sit and relax in the calm surroundings whilst getting started on that book you have been meaning to read.
This charming property is in the heart of the village and close to traditional pubs serving wholesome home-cooked meals and famous Dorset Ales, as well as quaint tea rooms, picturesque thatched cottages, playpark and a local shop housing all your daily essentials such as fresh bread, milk and eggs.
Enjoy some truly wonderful coastal and country walks and cycle paths whilst staying at The Hayloft and embark on an energetic hike along the National Trust clifftops or a more leisurely stroll along the shoreline at The Hive Beach – stopping for a bite to eat at the on beach café serving local and freshly sourced seafood.
Pack a picnic and make a day of it at Freshwater Beach, a short stroll from the property where you can soak up the sun, take a refreshing dip in the sea and even try your hand at a spot of fishing.
Don’t miss a trip to West Bay, famous for its starring role in ITV’s Broadchurch series, and sit on the harbour side wall and enjoy tasty fish and chips and watch in delight at all the coming and going of the busy fishing harbour, or take a short drive to the beautiful town of Lyme Regis where you can marvel at the collections in the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum or meet the underwater creatures at Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, before soaking up the sunshine at Monmouth Beach.
The Stables is a wonderful base for you to enjoy all that Dorset has to offer, from countryside and coastal walks to visiting nearby towns and villages to while away the hours in this truly beautiful part of the county.
