    Before booking a holiday we always read the reviews. A previous customer had left a terrible review, but that didn’t deter our decision to book, and iam so pleased it didn’t. The location was spot on, literally a 2 minute drive to one of the best beaches weve visited.The accommodation was all open plan so as a family we could be together, having the conservatory meant having our own space too if we wanted. If we came back to this area we would definitely stay again. If we were to suggest ...

If we came back to this area we would definitely stay again. If we were to suggest something it would be a few more utensils and crockery in the kitchen, ie pasta/cereal bowls.

Just half a mile from the beach in Burton Bradstock, rests this charming holiday home, Bridge Cottage.

Tastefully furnished for a week away, is the perfect place for families seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Take a minute to enjoy the peaceful surroundings after finding the assigned parking spot before getting to know your new home away from home.

You enter the open-plan living area right away, which has a welcoming feel thanks to three sofas and a warming gas fire.

The kitchen, which has a variety of appliances available, will surely entice aspiring chefs.

Make use of the range cooker with a double oven, as well as a Smeg fridge/freezer and dishwasher to help cleaning up.

There is also a convenient utility room just off the kitchen.

Discover the conservatory, where you may rest on the bistro table and chairs in the enclosed courtyard or pick a book from the collection and read in peace.

The main bedroom has a super-king size bed, while the second bedroom, which is off the living room, has two single beds.

Start the morning with a refreshing rinse in the bathroom, choosing either the double or twin to catch your rest.

Burton Bradstock, which has a local store, post office, and two pubs, The Anchor and The Three Horseshoes, where you may replenish after a strenuous walk, is an excellent holiday base for exploring Dorset's stunning Jurassic Coast.

Burton Beach, which offers stunning cliff views and the renowned Hive Beach Café, is only a short stroll away and is highly recommended by former guests.

Enjoy a dip in the sea, build sands castles all afternoon or go fossil hunting!

If exploration takes you further afield, head to Bridport, a market town that hosts weekend antique fairs and a number of stores where you can find a souvenir to take home.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.
