The property

Durdle Door Lodge is a tastefully decorated holiday home nestled in the tranquil village of Wool on the Woodlands Campsite, in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside.

This beautifully situated semi-detached home is a great home base for a family or group of friends seeking a tranquil getaway close to the breathtaking Jurassic Coast.

As you enter the house, you'll find a large living/dining room with patio doors leading out to a furnished enclosed deck that's ideal for al fresco dining during the warmer months.

Sit down at the dining table and enjoy a feast that the appointed chef has prepared in the well-stocked kitchen.

A shower room can be found on the ground level, which is great for skipping lines.

A family room with a double bed, single day bed and bunk beds, another double bedroom, and a twin bedroom await you upstairs; these three light-filled rooms are perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The three acres of outdoor space are also available to visitors, and there is play equipment for kids as well as lots of room for your four-legged friend to run around.

You can leave your car parked and take advantage of the public transportation options, such as the Jurassic Coast bus, which connects you quickly to Poole and Weymouth, in the village of Wool, which is just steps away from your front door.

Wool also has three pubs, a butcher shop and a bakery, perfect for grabbing a sweet treat.

Visit The Tank Museum in Bovington, which houses a sizable collection of tanks, including the first tank ever built.

It's a fascinating tour, and you might even witness some of the tanks being tested on nearby roads!

The incredible Monkey World Ape Rescue Center, a sanctuary for endangered apes in a lovely open-air park ideal for all ages, is a must-see for animal enthusiasts.

Visit the gorgeous Lulworth Cove shoreline for a lovely day on the beach in this unique land formation, and take a holiday photo near to the well-known Durdle Door, one of Dorset's most popular tourist attractions.

Lulworth Castle is a lovely day trip where you can marvel at the beautiful 17th-century castle, explore the vast gardens, go on woodland walks, and then have tea at The Castle Tearoom.

Visit Weymouth for traditional seaside enjoyment.

There are several attractions here, including the SEA LIFE Center and, of course, the renowned sandy beach.

With Durdle Door Lodge serving as your charming home base, whisk your loved ones away on an adventurous retreat to Dorset.
