The property

The Beeches is a detached holiday cottage perfectly located on the outskirts of the Dorset coastal village of Burton Bradstock. The property is perfect for families who want to enjoy the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline which can be seen from the property and boasts a spacious living area with a comfortable lounge and conservatory overlooking the enclosed garden where you can spend a lazy afternoon with a book and a couple of comfortable bedrooms - a cot and highchair is available for those with little ones. In summer, The Beeches is the perfect place to enjoy ‘Pool Life’ having a heated, outside, seasonally available swimming pool with sun loungers - there is no need to leave the vicinity of the property if you fancy a swim day.I addition, the nearest beach is just a short walk (10 minutes) away and here at Freshwater Beach, you have the option to paddle, beach comb or fossil hunt..

The Beeches is situated on the edge of the popular Dorset coastal village of Burton Bradstock which has two good pubs serving food (booking is recommended), a children's play park and a Spar supermarket/petrol garage.

If you want to do a bit more shopping, the market town of Bridport is a couple of miles away from the property with a weekly fresh local produce market, a good variety of independent and high street shops as well as antiques and a supermarket. The historic popular Bridport Golf Club which has wonderful Jurassic coast views is just a short walk away and welcomes visitors to play its course.

Around a mile away is the pretty harbour at West Bay with stunning cliffs and wonderful harbour. The seaside town of Weymouth is a short drive away with stunning award-winning beach and town centre bustling with a lot of attractions for kids and adults alike. The Beeches is a perfect holiday home for families looking for a property close to the beach and in a quiet village.

A wonderful coastal village in Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast, flanked by the River Bride. Burton Bradstock is the perfect spot for a peaceful break on England's south coast, with the South West Coastal Path running alongside for you walking enthusiasts. The village itself boasts 16th and 17th century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, the glistening Hive Beach is a wonderful spot to spend the summer days with the magnificent cliffs as a backdrop, there is also a lovely café to sit and relax in, once a year the Spring Tide Festival is held which would be worth lining up your holiday with! There are many attractions and activities to enjoy around here, with the stunning coastal resort of Weymouth making for an excellent day out. Alternatively, head inland to Dorchester and Yeovil for great shopping, architecture, eating and drinking.

Swimming pool is shared with owners and is unsupervised so is used at guests' own risk, the pool and the surrounding pool area hours are 10am to 4pm daily.
