Customer Services Supervisor

A position has arisen to join our growing business and play a key role in our customer services function.  Working in our bookings office your core function will be to gather, monitor and respond to guest and owner feedback, face to face, by telephone, email and social channels.  Dispute mediation and resolution.  Assisting guests with bookings, administration and other tasks with a positive and proactive approach.  Great administration, customer services, communication, Microsoft office, and databases skills required.  Previous customer services / sales experience essential, a degree is desirable.

This is a full-time position to include weekends.   Salary Circa. £23,000 dependent on experience

Property Supervisors

Dream Cottages are looking for two enthusiastic, friendly and organised Property Supervisors to join our property services team.

You will be responsible for the presentation and cleanliness of your allocated property portfolio of around 30 properties.

To join our team, you will have experience in the operational understanding in the tourism industry, be a good communicator and have a common-sense approach to problem; with a roll your sleeves up attitude.

Within the role of the job you will be responsible for the recruitment, training and management of a team of cleaners who you will deploy appropriately to achieve the high standard we set.  Through your daily job you will ensure the monitoring of standards, report basic property maintenance to the Property Service Managers and carry out the administration of scheduling cleaners and authorising invoices for payment.

Along with building strong relationships with your cleaners, you will work closely to build strong working relationships with our Owners to ensure their properties are looked after.

A basic understanding of Health and Safety in the work place is expected.

On occasion, you may be required to offer relief of general cleaner duties.

You must be Computer literate in Word, Outlook, Excel and an experience of working with a database would be beneficial.

Rate of Pay: £11.00 per hour

Weymouth and Portland area hours: 30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days to include every Saturday

West Dorset area hours: 25 hours per week over 4 or 5 days to include every Saturday

Permanent position

Property Services Manager

Dream Cottages are looking for a motivated, friendly and preferably experienced confident Property Services Manager to join their growing property services team.

You will look after a portfolio of around 50 Dream Cottages serviced properties ensuring that both Guest and Owner needs are met.

In our busy working environment, you will need to be organised with an enthusiasm for the varied role this position offers; knowing how to prioritise your workload for best results.  Working within a small and specialised team you will need to match the high levels of client service we offer through fantastic communication skills both written and spoken – this is the key to success in this role!

Experience in a property maintenance and tourism specific industry along with the understanding of technical aspects such as heating systems, general maintenance, will assist your hands-on approach to the management of maintenance tasks and the building of strong relationships with both our Owners and Guests.

As a line manager to the Property Supervisor(s) you will be responsible for ensuring they are carrying out their job to the best of their ability, meeting the requirements of their role and carrying out annual appraisal.

Along with the day to day Guest and Owner queries, you will ensure that Owners are advised of any changes in legislation and ensure your property portfolio has all compliance aspects in place.

You will form close working relationships with our preferred tradespeople ensuring work orders are raised and carried out to completion, whilst endeavouring to obtain best price and workmanship for our Owners.

Due to the nature of the industry you will be required to work some weekends on a rota basis which will include some weekend emergency on call.

You must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and have some experience of using TABS or similar database.

Permanent position.

37 hours over 5 days a week

Salary £28,000
