Customer Services Assistant
Salary: £8 per hour
Job Role: To answer all incoming calls within 3 rings. To meet and assist customers and deal with queries. To take bookings and payments.
Responsible to: Alison O’Dowd
Main tasks of the job:
- Computer skills including word / excel and ability to master our bespoke booking system.
- Excellent local area knowledge.
- An excellent telephone manner whilst answering the telephone and assisting with telephone enquiries, taking and relaying messages.
- Greeting customers and dealing with queries.
- Taking bookings and payments for holidays in person, via the website and over the telephone.
- To update TABS with all new bookings and amendments to current bookings.
- To deal with admin emails and customer enquiries.
- To keep up to date with new properties.
- Issue key collection and parking permits to customers.
- Issue revised travel directions and booking amendments as necessary.
- To deal with any maintenance issues/problems from guests.
- To cover the reception when required.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by senior management.
*Some experience in customer service necessary.
This is a six month fixed term contract which may be extended.
Tuesday: 9.00 – 17.30
Wednesday: 12.30 – 17.30
Friday: 12.30 – 17.30
