Customer Services Assistant

Salary:                       £8 per hour

Job Role:                   To answer all incoming calls within 3 rings.  To meet and assist customers and                                      deal with queries.  To take bookings and payments.

Responsible to:       Alison O’Dowd

Main tasks of the job:

  • Computer skills including word / excel and ability to master our bespoke booking system.
  • Excellent local area knowledge.
  • An excellent telephone manner whilst answering the telephone and assisting with telephone enquiries, taking and relaying messages.
  • Greeting customers and dealing with queries.
  • Taking bookings and payments for holidays in person, via the website and over the telephone.
  • To update TABS with all new bookings and amendments to current bookings.
  • To deal with admin emails and customer enquiries.
  • To keep up to date with new properties.
  • Issue key collection and parking permits to customers.
  • Issue revised travel directions and booking amendments as necessary.
  • To deal with any maintenance issues/problems from guests.
  • To cover the reception when required.
  • To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by senior management.

*Some experience in customer service necessary.

Working hours:  

This is a six month fixed term contract which may be extended.

Tuesday: 9.00 – 17.30

Wednesday: 12.30 – 17.30

Friday: 12.30 – 17.30
