After a hard days walking, what better way to round off the day than with a nice meal and a cool drink.<\/h3>\n

Dorset is home to many dog friendly pubs, restaurants and eateries, with so many to choose from we have rounded up our recommendations, covering almost all areas of Dorset, and with over 100 dog friendly properties available within a short walk or drive of our guide below, there really is something for every dog owner and dog.<\/p>\n

The Mess Deck \u2013 Portland<\/a>. <\/strong>With views of Portland marina. <\/strong>The mess deck serves hot and cold drinks and has doggy treats too.<\/p>\n

The Cove – Chesil Beach<\/a>. <\/strong>Sitting quite literally on Chesil beach, <\/strong>the cove offers up daily specials as well as locally court fish.<\/p>\n

Nothe Tavern \u2013 Weymouth<\/strong><\/a>. Sitting high up above Weymouth Harbour, the Nothe tavern commands great views. Serving seasonal specials and a selection of real ales.<\/p>\n

The Thimble \u2013 Piddlehinton. <\/strong>This pretty thatched village pub enjoys a running brook through it and serves classic meals and a great selection of real ales and ciders.<\/p>\n

The Blue Vinny \u2013 Puddle Town. <\/strong>This family run pub is well known for its food, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers.<\/p>\n

The Hive \u2013 Burton Bradstock<\/a>. <\/strong>Set by the dramatic cliffs ofHive beach, this caf\u00e9 is a local\u2019s favourite, serving great coffee, and an ever-changing menu of seafood.<\/p>\n

The Kings Arms \u2013 Portesham. <\/strong> Set in the pretty village of Portesham, with a huge beer garden to roam, serving fresh locally sourced food and craft ales and larger.<\/p>\n

The Anchor \u2013 Seatown<\/a>. <\/strong>This bay side pub specialises in local seafood, serving up an ever-changing selection of local produce.<\/p>\n

The White Swan \u2013 Swanage. <\/strong>A 16th<\/sup> Century thatched pub, serving local foods, real ales and ciders.<\/p>\n
