Ashwood is another welcome addition to the highly popular and inviting properties in the Kellaway Court Development. The furnishings for Ashwood are very appealing and the owner reflects her own personality in the presentation of her holiday home. Attention has been made to detail and the holidaymaker is afforded space and style. Kellaway Court is very convenient for walks along the Nothe gardens and Newton's Cove. The colourful harbour is a mere three minute walk away and the Brewers Quay area offers restaurants, bistros, coffee shops and an antiques emporium on your doorstep. A variety of local pubs and coffee houses are close by. If, however, you wish for peace and quiet, the nearby attractions are not intrusive. Weymouth's golden sands invite all ages to dip a toe in the water. Kellaway Court offers magic for all seasons, each holiday home there having an ambience of its very own. The west facing patio offers views through the courtyard and into the Brewers Quay area.

Accommodation: From the rear parking area: steps up to a small patio area. Doors to large open plan kitchen/diner. 1st floor: hallway with door to front entrance. Bedroom 1, double bed. Shower room with hand basin and toilet. Lounge with TV, DVD/Video, music centre, gas fire and feature balcony offering a view of Hope Square. 2nd floor: Bedroom 2, twin single beds. Bedroom 3, kingsize 5ft wide bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Services in addition to standard equipment: Wifi. Gas central heating, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, DVD player, music system and Sony PlayStation (with games). Cot. Allocated parking for ONE car only in electronically gated secure residents parking area. Patio table and chairs. Non smokers only please. Excellent, prompt,very helpful and polite service from dream cottages. Ashwood was perfect! Lovely interior throughout, very comfortable(nice to have two reception rooms as there was six of us), well equipped(everything you would need), very clean and nice patio area with furniture . About the Location

Weymouth sits perfectly on the stunningly beautiful Jurassic coastline. Located on the Southern tip of Dorset, this traditional seaside town is one of the most visited and popular areas on the south coast.

With a beautiful, blue flag, sandy beach, sitting against the back drop of an elegant Georgian esplanade, this seaside wonder is a firm favourite for families. As indeed it once was for King George III, who famously used to holiday here.

For a perfectly nostalgic English seaside holiday, you can ask for no more. A golden, sandy beach, named one of the best in Britain, shallow waters which are perfect for paddling, Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides, carousels on the promenade, all accompanied by traditional chippies and quaint tea rooms.

Head down to Weymouth’s Old Harbour, a fine Georgian harbour and one of the prettiest in Europe. Simply soak up the bustling atmosphere of harbour life; sit on the harbour wall with some fish and chips and watch the large catamarans, traditional fishing boats and luxury yachts. Or why not enjoy an adrenaline fuelled ride around the bay with the Weymouth Bay Rib Charters. How about a nice family fishing trip? Many of the fishing boats at the harbour offer fishing trips for absolute beginners and accomplished anglers. Weymouth is fantastic for fishing with plenty of wrecks and reefs to explore.

Try a Jurassic Safari where you can sample Dorset’s secret beauty, off the beaten track. You will be taken along unspoilt country lanes, ancient byways and deep river crossings, whilst catching sight of beautiful wildlife.

Fossil hunting on Chesil beach is a joy with the children. They can run up and down the steep shingle climb, whilst you picnic on the beach.

Sandworld is definitely worth a visit; the sand art won’t fail to impress and there is a fantastic sandpit for the children to play in.

Visit the magnificent Nothe Fort and explore the tunnels and passageways that were once filled with soldiers and canons. See where all the gun powder was stored and walk up to the top level where the canons were fired at the approaching enemy.

If a leisurely stroll through beautiful gardens is more your thing, why not try the award winning Greenhill Gardens, which sit right on the seafront. Bennetts Water Gardens is also a lovely choice, replete with a vast array of water lilies and a Claude Monet style Japanese bridge. A very romantic setting for a picnic!

For a fun packed day out with the kids, head to the Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park and Tower, an underground sea world with attractions, rides and over 1,000 incredible creatures. Venture up in a viewing capsule on the The Jurassic Skyline for an incredible panoramic view across the Jurassic Coastline and Dorset countryside.

Children will love Fantasy Island. There are lots of rides, many traditional ones ideal for younger children, tea pots and flying elephants to name but a few! Penny arcades, slot machines and a fab coffee bar.

Weymouth is a fantastic town with plenty to do for everyone!
