The cottage was a perfect fit for us. A wonderful quiet rural location off the beaten track but still close to everywhere we wanted to go. Very relaxing environment. Wonderful farm shop just up the road. Lovely accomodation-very comfortable but the red settee was interesting. Brilliant parking as we had 3 vehicles. We would love to have stayed longer. We all loved it! Stayed April 2017

Mrs J Manlow

About the Location

Burton Bradstock perfect for that holiday getaway. Well known for its’ prime position along the Jurassic Coast where the sandstone cliffs mark the start of Chesil beach, Burton Bradstock is a large and pretty village which has retained much of its’ character from a time when it’s inhabitants were made up a small community of farmers, fisherman, net makers and flax spinners. Burton Bradstock beach is a shelving shingle beach close to the village, with far reaching views across Lyme Bay and Chesil Bank. There are plenty of picturesque walks to choose from all along the coast and when you are tired, the village also boasts one of the finest seafood restaurants in the area ‘The Hive Beach Café’, where you can kick back and watch the world go by.
