Can I bring my dog?
Please look for the little dog symbol in the property description, this means one small dog is allowed, if you have more or a larger dog we may need to ask the Owners permission. At properties where dogs are welcome, please note that they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms and should not be left alone at the property, thank you for your cooperation on this point
Can I hire bed linen?
Bed linen is included at almost all our properties, however, if this facility is charged for (£15 per double bed and £8 per single bed), it will be stated in the services section of the property details.
Can I take a short break?
Short breaks and mid week breaks are available at out of peak season times and also at last minute peak times (I.e. one week before) and are subject to Owner acceptance.
Does the property have a cot?
If the property has a little cot symbol then there will be a cot in the property, this is likely to be a travel cot. Unfortunately due to health and safety reasons we cannot provide highchairs.
Does the property have a TV?
Yes, all our properties have basic equipment which includes at least one television, microwave, iron and ironing board, cooker, fridge.
How can I pay?
You can pay by debit card (no charge), Credit card (subject to a 2% processing fee) or cheque. For any bookings to be taken in the next 14 days payment must be by debit or credit card. For overseas guests we can offer bank transfer as an option and provide details to pay using this method. Cheques are made payable to Dream Cottages Limited.
How do I make a booking?
Please complete an online booking. Alternatively, please call our Office on 01305 789000 and we will confirm availability and make a booking for you.
Is electricity and gas included in the price?
Gas and electricity is included in the rental price unless otherwise stated in the property description. < Back
What are the Office opening hours?
Mon - Fri 9am - 7pm, Sat 9am - 6pm, Sun 10am - 4pm (hours may vary on Bank Holidays and other special occasions).
What does the VisitBritain star rating mean?
One Star: Acceptable overall level of`quality. Adequate provision of furniture, furnishings and fittings.
Two Stars: (In addition to what is provided at One Star)
Good overall level of quality. All units self contained.
Three Stars: (In addition to what is provided at Two Star)
Good to very good overall level of quality. Good standard of maintenance and decoration. Ample space and good quality furniture. All double beds with access from both sides. Microwaves
Four Stars: (In addition to what is provided at Three Star)
Excellent overall level of quality. Very good care and attention to detail is obvious throughout. Either access to a washing machine and dryer, if not provided in the unit, or a 24 hour laundry service.
Five Stars: (In addition to what is provided at Four Star)
Exceptional overall level of quality. High levels of decor, fixtures and fittings, together with excellent standards of management efficiency and guest service. Excellent range of accessories and professional touches.

What if I have special requirements?
Please call our office to speak with our dedicated staff. All the properties in our portfolio have been personally inspected by at least one member of staff so we can answer all your queries, or if we can't, we will phone the owner and come back to you as soon as we can.
What if I need to cancel?
We recommend that all guests take out holiday cancellation insurance. We can provide information on this or you can use your own contacts. Should you need to cancel you will lose your deposit payment and may be liable for the balance payment if the property is not re-booked. In all cases Dream Cottages must be notified in writing.
What if I want to make a booking for next year?
We can provisionally reserve properties for you up to 2 years in advance but cannot guarantee their availability until that year's brochure is printed. Please call our office if you would like to make a provisional booking.
What if something goes wrong whilst I'm on holiday?
Please contact Dream Cottages in the case of any problem. We are open 7 days a week.
What is the office address?

What will be in the kitchen?
The kitchen should be sensibly equipped for the minimum number of guests including, saucepans, crockery, cutlery, glassware. Any specialist items such as a wok or griddle should be brought with you.

Will I need to pay a security deposit?
Security deposits are applied at the owners' discretion and will be discussed with you at the time of booking.
Will there be cleaning materials in the property?
As a minimum there will be a hoover and brush in the property but there may not be any cleaning materials as contract cleaners are not allowed to leave them in the properties due to Health and Safety regulations. Please also remember to bring black bags with you.
