Wey Valley House is an impressive, spacious, detached residence, nestled in the valley, on the edge of the village of Upwey.  Built of Portland Stone and set in some 3 acres of ground including landscaped gardens and natural countryside it has a private trail up hill to its own copse which sits high above the village. The path offers magnificent views of the village, church and countryside. Deer, and rabbits can often be seen in the early morning. The garden also offers a children's' play area and a flat lawn with plenty of room to kick a ball around on. The whole scene is one of lush countryside offering peace and tranquility.

The house has been renovated this year and has a new kitchen with top end equipment, laundry and games room; new sofas and Persian rugs in the living rooms and many other improvements making it very comfortable indeed.

Upwey is very picturesque and much loved with a pretty stream running  through it. Two village pubs are within walking distance and offer very good food. The Riverside Inn, 10 minutes walk away is a gastro pub and has a delightful garden. In addition the Wishing Well restaurant, with its beautiful old well and exquisite gardens, two minutes walk away from the house, offers excellent meals and delicious home made cakes and scones.

The surrounding area with its rolling hills and green valleys invites you to discover some of Dorset's most splendid countryside with the choice of the coastline only a lazy drive away.
