It is a modern well built, nicely apportioned house which has been sensibly equipped and furnished by the owners offering a good home from home.  It is placed in an ideal location for both the young and the more mature.  The Maltings housing development lies approximately 5 minutes walk away from the busy Brewers Quay with its Dickensian shops, numerous eating places and colourful pubs which all lead to the fascinating Harbour.  The walk from the Maltings along the coast path to the Nothe Fort or the ruined castle at Sandsfoot is very invigorating. Secret rock pools are to be found at nearby Newton's Cove which capture the imagination of young children. For the less energetic the coastline offers benches where you may sit and read the day's newspaper or just look across the bay to Portland.  The golden sands at Weymouth are about a 10 minute walk along the busy harbour.
