Home Waters is located in a quiet location on the edge of Portland Harbour at Ferrybridge, the southerly tip of Weymouth just before the causeway leading across to Portland and offers the best of both worlds because of this. Portland offers a rugged charm with cliff top walks, wildlife and the wonderful Chesil beach to comb and look for a few lost treasures.  Weymouth town centre with a host of shops, restaurants, attractions and the main beach with its golden sands is a pleasant 30 minutes walk away along the 'Rodwell Trail', an old converted railway line or around an 8 minutes drive/bus journey away.  Smallmouth Bay with its small sandy beach is only a minute or two away; however a short walk along the coast will take you to hidden away Sandsfoot beach which is an ideal alternative to the more commercialised town centre beach.  The surrounding waters, which welcome the very best of the world's waters sports enthusiasts as they practise here in anticipation of the Olympic events being held in Weymouth and Portland in 2012, are only moments from your front door.  Your choice will be whether to join the sailors and windsurfers or just enjoy viewing the sailing spectacle.  Home Waters makes for a comfortable family holiday home with the benefit of parking and a landscaped patio garden in an ideal coastal location.
