Cob Cottage is a deceptively large traditional style terraced cottage set in the quiet and peaceful village of West Knighton, a small village which boasts an 11th century church and a village pub.  The nearby village of Broadmayne has good amenities including post office / shop, pub and a regular bus service to Dorchester.  The county town of Dorchester is around three miles away and has a variety of good shopping, restaurants (including one with a Michelin star), museums and a cinema. The beaches Ringstead Bay at around 5 miles away and Lulworth Cove at around 10 miles away are an easy drive.  The main resort of Weymouth is around 9 miles away and along with a fabulously long sandy beach you can also enjoy traditional entertainments such as Punch and Judy and donkey rides.  Cob Cottage is a good choice for a `getting away from it all break', which is still just a short drive from all the amenities you may require whilst on holiday.
